Richard

Orthodontist
Dr Richard Pepperell has been an orthodontist now for 23 years, and is a registered specialist with the Dental Board of Australia.

  • He completed his schooling at Miami High, before attending the University of Queensland. After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) degree in 1980, Richard was employed by the School Dental Service in NSW.
  • He and his wife, Carmen, met in Narrabri and married on the Gold Coast. Richard then applied for entry into the postgraduate Orthodontic program at the University of Sydney. He was awarded a Master's degree in Dental Science (MDSc) in 1987.
  • In January, 1988 Richard and Carmen relocated to Tamworth, raised two sons and enjoyed the country lifestyle for the next two decades. In 2009, with both boys having finished school, the attraction of a return to their extended families on the Gold Coast proved irresistable.

Dr Pepperell is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA); the Australian Association of Orthodontists (ASO); the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO); and the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO).
